At HaloDoctor, we do everything we can to create optimal conditions for patients and doctors to conduct online medical consultations. However, if something goes wrong, you can file a complaint. Below, we describe how you can file a complaint about your visit.
Link to the complaint in the email confirming your visit
The quickest way to file a complaint is to click the complaint link in the appointment confirmation email, which you'll find in your email. Clicking the link in the email will immediately identify the doctor and the appointment you're complaining about.
Complaints on the Patient Portal
If you can't find your appointment confirmation email, you can also log in to the Patient Portal if you have previously created an account there
Complaint form
The quickest way to submit a complaint is via the link in your appointment confirmation email or through the Patient Portal. However, if you can't find your appointment confirmation email or log in to the Patient Portal, please complete the complaint form:
What can I do if I am dissatisfied with my e-Visit?
When can't you advertise eVisits?
If the doctor decides during the online consultation that there are no grounds to issue a sick leave certificate or a prescription for the medication, the consultation has taken place, and ultimately, it is up to the doctor to decide whether to issue an e-Leave and e-Prescription.
Who returns the funds - the doctor or the haloDoctor platform?
Our platform acts as an intermediary for contact, but you enter into an agreement with a specific doctor when you complete the registration form. Therefore, reimbursement is the doctor's responsibility.
My doctor didn't prescribe the psychotropic medication I wanted. Can I file a complaint?
No. Pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of October 29, 2024, a doctor cannot issue a prescription for narcotic drugs from groups I-N and II-N, psychotropic substances from group II-P, or preparations containing these drugs or substances during an online consultation without first examining the patient in person. Therefore, if you have scheduled an online appointment, there are no grounds for a complaint and refund.
